About David:
A change of career while living in London, UK, has led me to study at The British School of Osteopathy (BSO), first and oldest Osteopathic school in Europe, founded in 1917. After five years of training, I gained a university, Master’s Degree in Osteopathy in 2013. The training at the BSO has allowed me to gain an excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology and the last two years of the training in clinic has given me the chance to see and treat a wide variety of clients coming with different complaints. After graduation I worked as an associate at the BSO clinic and some other practices in London and the surroundings.
In 2015 I moved across the pond, in Nova Scotia where I practiced in multidisciplinary clinics around other European and Canadian osteopaths, physiotherapists, acupuncturists, naturopaths and massage therapists. During those first 6 years in Canada, I had the chance to see over 1000 patients from all ages coming with different complaints.
In 2021, I immigrated to the USA to be with my wife, who is an American osteopathic doctor. During my time in the US, I did a program in massage therapy at The American Institute of Alternative Medicine where I discovered some other treatments aspects. I also did some pre/post-natal / pediatric trainings at an osteopathic school in Quebec. While in training between the US and Canada I also did some hands-on teaching to American osteopathic doctor students to help them improve their hands-on skills as well as doing some shadowing with a pediatric osteopathic doctor.
Since graduation over 10 years ago I took a lot of courses in all aspects of osteopathy and manual therapy, in Europe and North America. In 2019 I had the privilege to do a presentation at the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians seminar in Florida and two years ago a presentation to American osteopathic doctor on osteopathy in Europe, in Ohio.
For the last 2 years, I have been doing some locums / replacements across France.
I love Osteopathy, and every year I try to attend as many courses as I can to keep improving my skills and to keep helping as many people as possible.
